Matthew Connerton & Amanda Davis

Technical Director & Lead Teacher S.O.A.R

Recently Engaged!  Matt & Amanda are key componets to RFC as they lend great expertise in their fields.  They are passionate and faithful team players who go above and beyond the call of duty on a regular basis.

Amanda Davis has been a part of RFC since 2007. She began at RFC shortly after moving from London, England to the United States. Although she is an American citizen, Amanda was born in Hong Kong and, as the daughter of missionaries, grew up in Macao, South Korea, the Netherlands, and England. Amanda feels very blessed to have been called to RFC and the Children's Ministry, and is passionate about helping children discover and learn more about God's love.

Amanda is a full-time student at Gardner-Webb University. She is majoring in Elementary Education with minors in Professional Education and Religion. After graduating, Amanda plans to teach for a while before getting her masters degree. Amanda is engaged to marry Matthew Connerton, RFC's Technical Director, in May of 2010.

Matthew Connerton has been a member of RFC since 2006. He began attending RFC after moving to North Carolina from his home state of Massachusetts, and quickly found himself at home in the church. On a clear call from God and with a life long passion for technology, his role as Technical Director was inevitable. Matthew and his growing team of techs oversee the sound, video, lighting and computer equipment at the church.

While Matthew's team is handling the media booth during services, Matthew is onstage playing the keyboards as a member of the praise team. Outside of church, he works as a website developer in Asheville, spends time researching new internet technologies, and help his fiancee Amanda Davis plan for their spring wedding in 2010.
